pp pe hdpe

Plastic is a wondrous substance that allows us to create so much of our everyday lives. Do you ever survey your surroundings and wonder what things are made out of? Today we are going to learn about PP, PE, and HDPE- the magic of 3 twin stars of plastic. These sound like showy, fancy words, but they're what the coolest kids in the class are all about!

PP() That is a really strong type of plastic that can also resist heat really well. しぶりのでち? PP (ポリプロピレン) PP: polypropylene Think of plastic containers you'd use to pack hot soup (it won't melt). PP is used for everything from food containers to bottle caps to many of the things you might use alone in the kitchen. A plastic superhero, as it would save our food from any harm.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Using PP, PE, and HDPE

Next, we have PE, which stands for polyethylene. Compared to PP, PE is soft and bendable. That common reactant in most plastic bags at the grocery store or the wrap you'll use to cover leftovers is PE! It has some bend to it, and isn't brittle. PE works well for water bottles, plastic bags and food wrap. Think of it as a stretchy friend: it can cover and protect things.

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is the third type of plastic. This is also a strong plastic that can withstand extremely hot or cold temperatures. HDPE is used for pipes, large tanks and even trash cans. It’s a super tough plant that thrives under hardship. You can visualize HDPE as a pipe that transmits water, but does not break, or a trash can that can remain out in the sun or rain.
